Jasmin Voutilainen’s life came from sleeping pills and alcohol to try to cure insomnia and feeling bad. The instant levers led to debt debts, and there was a painful difference from the relationship.
– Jasmin’s depression and mental health problems began to appear, and the use of drugs and liquor increased a lot. I was for a long time worried but then I was really worried, describes a friend Laura Mononen in the podcast.
In February 2022, he had a hidden life on sick leave because he no longer remembered the pages of the shifts he had learned. The work community did not talk about the severity of Voutian problems. In July 2022, Voutilainen took a large amount of drugs. He was found by the then partner and called the emergency center.
“I realized that now I could do really bad if he doesn’t get help soon,” Laura Monone describes in the podcast.
A couple of days after a suicide attempt, Voutilainen was allowed home from the hospital. A Voutian was referred to outpatient care and at the same time it was reported that he could not have a substance abuse problem by the time the outpatient treatment. At that time, he had an dependence on alcohol and sleeping pills.
Voutilainen died of suicide on March 17, 2023.
