Unilever at the top of higher AEX
The AEX is 0.2 percent higher at 945.3 points. Food manufacturer Unilever climbs 1 percent. Its ice cream branch will be given a separate stock exchange listing in a week. Chip machine manufacturer ASML has lost some of its previous gains, but is still 0.8 percent higher. An increase in the price target to 1,100 euros by the American bank JPMorgan with a maintained buy recommendation provides support.
ArcelorMittal rises 0.7 percent, after a buy recommendation from investment advisor William. The steel producer has been on the rise for a few months, supported by lower import quotas and higher tariffs. The investors CVC Capital and Prosus are at the bottom with minuses of 2.2 and 1.7 percent. Shell drops 0.1 percent, despite oil prices rising by almost 2 percent following OPEC+’s decision to keep production the same next year. Mid-cap Air France KLM flies 6.1 percent up after a buy recommendation from JPMorgan. Aalberts drops 1.2 percent. The industrial company is divesting some parts. Small cap Theon yields 2.4 percent. The defense company wants to raise 150 million euros through a rights issue. TomTom climbs 1.3 percent on the announcement of a share buyback program. CM.com drops 8.5 percent on the local market.
