Andijker Botman could not qualify for the World Cup competitions this season, but was therefore second in the Dutch Championship distances with 34.55. He was just ahead of Hilversummer Scherferkamp (34.57). Strikingly enough, the stage was identical to that of last year.
Tijmen quickly from Amsterdam finished fifth. Mats van den Bos finished eighth over the two rounds. He will still participate in the 1000 meters on Sunday. It is his first participation in the NK for the Haarlemmer. NH Sport visited him earlier this week in Heerenveen.
