Jan Slagter is annoyed by the statement of Victor Vlam that the sound of Geert Wilders should sound more often at the NPO. The boss of Omroep Max thinks it is a GOTSPE. “What a chat!”

TV critic Victor Vlam believes that the NPO should give more room to the sound of Geert Wilders, because the supporters of the PVV would not recognize enough in the public broadcaster. According to him, if such a large group of people feel not represented by the NPO, they lose their confidence in the media.

Chatter

Jan Slagter, the boss of Omroep Max, thinks it is nonsense. “What a Kletskoek! Wilders will not come if you invite him !! Maybe VLAM should turn to the PVV and ask them why they reject every invitation …”, he writes up X.

Victor then says: “The fact that Wilders does not want to sit down does not release the NPO from the obligation to make the themes and the sound of his voters hear. And of course I think Wilders has to pass by talk shows but that speaks for itself.”

‘Is about themes’

Joost Eerdmans often appears in talk shows as a conservative politician. “Caroline too,” said Victor. “It’s not primarily about the guests but about the themes. When was there a discussion about adjusting the ECHR or Refugee Convention? That plays on the right.”

A radio show like this is the day, it is often accompanied by that kind of subjects, finally, Victor acknowledges. “But talk shows don’t do many things because they don’t want to play the populist right in the card. That’s crazy.”
