“Very reliable player”
After Anthony Ujah, Jan-Hendrik Marx’s contract at Eintracht Braunschweig was also automatically extended thanks to staying up. As the Lower Saxony announced, the working paper of the 28-year-old right-back, who can also be used in right midfield, ends in summer 2024. Marx came to BTSV from FC Ingolstadt in January 2022, since then there have been 42 games – 26 of them in this season.
“Jan is a very reliable player, on and off the pitch. We believe he can take further development steps and are happy that the contractual situation with him has been clarified at an early stage,” said Sporting Director Peter Vollmann. Marx explained: “I feel very comfortable in Braunschweig, with Eintracht and in the team and I’m really happy that we’ve reached the league and thus our goal for the season. I am very happy to be a lion in the future and to attack again next season.”
Glad you’re staying with us, Jan!
Jan-Hendrik Marx’s contract has been extended by one year until June 30, 2024 due to the relegation. He remains a lion!
