Jan Biggel becomes an actor. The singer from Liempde, known for his big hit, ‘our mother still’, was asked for a role in a new New Kids (carnival) film. The singer told that on Monday morning in the radio program Keeigoeiemorgen on Omroep Brabant. “You don’t believe it?”

The new New Kids film is about four best friends from Brabant who live for carnival. However, they see their party plans falling apart when one of them suddenly has to take care of his alienated daughter. Prince Carnival also appears to have devious plans. If the party threatens to fail, they have to do everything they can to save carnival.

“That is laughing too, boy!” Biggel said on the radio. “That guy from New Kids, from Maaskantje white nie, called me recently. He told something about a folk singer who can’t sing and scores a carnival hit. I said: Gosh, that sounds familiar to me! That man said: this is not about you, but we would like you to participate in the movie. I said: well, I’ll participate, haha. Walking on a red carpet once, that seems to me laughing. In October we have the recording day. I also have to sing a song in the movie and I also participate in Guus Meeuwis. This is humor! I have never done this. But everything I’ve never done before, I usually like. “

“I am looking at it, a song in that kindergarten malls of mine.”

Speaking of challenges, Biggel has more news. “I’m going to Spain in mid -October. Making new songs, because I have a lot in the pen. There have to be a few more. There is some time in it. And I am still busy with some English songs.”

Relating: “Yes, tried, hey! One we have now finished, a demo. It actually worked out well. I was watching it, with that kindergarten of mine. But if you really want to go in a direction, you have to make sure you have multiple songs so that you know for sure: otherwise I can get it. First make a few so that I know for sure if we have something good or not. “

Biggel even rapped in the song. “Yes boy, you are completely double. People are shocked when they hear it!”

Biggel previously sang in English especially for Omroep Brabant.
