Ruby, the transgender daughter of actress Jamie Lee Curtis, has been subjected to horrific torture as she has had to receive death threats because of her gender.
According to Curtis, the people sending the threats want to destroy people like Ruby. He himself wants to use his voice to speak against those who have not learned “anything about fascism”.
He continues by saying that his daughter’s transgenderism has not been a problem in the family. Instead, for people outside the family, it has become a cornerstone.
– I have a transgender daughter. Threats have been made to him just for existing. There are people who want to destroy him.

Curtis goes on to say how such a group of people have learned nothing from the past.
– If we haven’t learned anything about fascism, we haven’t learned about its end result either: it destroys people.
The actor adds that he immediately accepted his daughter’s case openly and seriously and is learning a few new terms and sensitive language.
– This is new to me. I don’t pretend that I already knew much about these things. And I’ll admit it: I’m going to make mistakes. But I’m going to learn to avoid big mistakes.
Curtis is especially known for Halloween movies. He has also acted in numerous other films and TV series.
