Almere City has already been very active in the transfer market this summer. In addition to Jacobs, byron Burgering (FC Den Bosch), Enzo Cornelisse (Vitesse), Misha Engel (AZ), Julian Rijkhoff (Ajax), Ferdy Druijf (no club), Tristan Kuijsten (AZ) and Teun Bijleveld (Triestina) were also recorded.
“We really have a lot of quality in the team,” says Jacobs about the selection of Almere City. “I also know Ferdy and Teun from my time at AZ. The goal is promoting and I think this is definitely in it.”
The new season of Almere City in the First Division starts, subject to the professional license of Vitesse, on Friday, August 9. The club from Arnhem is the opponent in round one.
