Jalmari Helander unexpectedly reveals how difficult it was with a big Hollywood star

According to Helander, the others on the set had to be on their toes.

– He needed to show who is number one.

Big Game premiered in 2014. Now, almost a decade later, 46-year-old Helander feels that he has grown as a director and as a person.

– Now I would have a very different attitude as a director than I did then. I wouldn’t go to the party. I was quite inexperienced and young at the time, and I didn’t know how to hold my own as well as I would have liked, he admits.

In fact, Helander has promised himself that the same thing will never happen again. No matter what anyone says, he will stick to the course of action he has already thought about beforehand. He does his work carefully and systematically so that things always have a reason.
