The German Team Sports outfitter Jako AG is now also represented in Austria with its retail format TeamShop89. The first store in the country was opened in Bad Aussee last Wednesday.
The TeamShop89 SCAP Teamsport is run by Andreas Pehringer and Christian Stangl. “Together they have extensive experience and rely on a strong network with clubs from the area,” said Jako. The new store has an area of 80 square meters with an integrated area for finishing team sports products for clubs and companies.
Co -operator Andreas Pehringer explained the background of the reopening: “We have hardly any sports dealers in our region who concentrate specifically on team sport. That is why we took the initiative and opened our own business,” he said in a statement. “Our philosophy is to work directly with the clubs and to facilitate the organization. The opening was an important moment for us and shows how great the interest in a specialized team sports dealer in our region is.”
Tobias Röschl, who is responsible for marketing and sales on the board of Jako, paid tribute to the new partners. “At Jako we attach great importance not only to support clubs with products, but also with strong partners on site. Andreas Pehringer, Christian Stangl and her team bring the passion and expertise that is needed to look after clubs as best as possible,” he said.
