Jacquemus CEO will also become president of the brand

Bastien Daguzan, the current managing director of the French fashion label Jacquemus, will in the future hold the title of President in addition to his expanded role.

This position was previously held by the brand’s founder, Simon Porte Jacquemus, who will continue to serve as creative director and shareholder.

The appointment was confirmed in public filings and reiterated by Daguzan himself in a LinkedIn posting: “Another exciting chapter at Jacquemus.”

The managing director also made a statement to the trade magazine Vogue Business about his appointment, adding: “It is a formal recognition of our duo, a reflection of the reality of the business and a signal of mutual trust.”

Daguzan joined Jacquemus in the executive role in March 2022 after serving as general manager at French fashion house Paco Rabanne for five years.

He previously held senior positions at Le Maire and Krisvanasche, where he initially worked as sales manager and later as sales and development manager.

The expansion of his role at Jacquemus comes at a time when the brand is forecasting double-digit growth for 2023 and is preparing its next show, “Les Sculptures,” which will take place on January 29 at the Fondation Maeght in the south of France.
