The businessman who has been convicted of stalking and deliberately hitting ex-Miss Belgium Ilse De Meulemeester will appeal. And he’s giving an interview for the first time. Jacobus ‘Koos’ Perdaems (65), who also owns the legendary Antwerp snack bar Number One, says he was convicted on the basis of an incomplete file. “Deputy Public Prosecutor Chris Nys has manipulated the investigation to allow Ilse De Meulemeester and her ex Glenn Janssens a free retreat. I am not a stalker, I am a victim of extortion and corruption.”
