Izvestia announced new proposals for fines for breaking silence – RBK

Deputies of the State Duma Committee on Labor and Social Policy have sent a bill to the government on introducing fines for breaking silence at night into the Code of Administrative Offenses. About it write Izvestia with reference to the explanatory note.

The bill of the head of the committee, Yaroslav Nilov, “On Amendments to the Administrative Code” should supplement the 20th chapter of the code. It aims to simplify the process of holding citizens and officials accountable, the note says.

If the bill is adopted, administrative fines for breaking the silence will be from 2.5 to 5 thousand rubles. for individuals, from 10 to 20 thousand – for officials. Legal entities will pay from 50 to 100 thousand.

The draft law was sent for expert study to the executive authorities, the press service of the government told the publication.

Fines for breaking silence at night will be added to the Administrative Code
