“It’s like Indiana Jones opening a hidden cave”: Georgia opens Stalin’s mysterious wine cellar with 40,000 bottles

For decades it remained hidden behind lock and key in the Georgian capital Tbilisi, but now the mysterious wine cellar of Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin has been opened for the first time. The dark storage room contains around 40,000 rare French and Georgian wines, some more than 200 years old. Georgia wants to auction the collection soon and use the proceeds to establish a wine school, among other things.
