Telecinco’s mornings are once again Anna Quintana. Almost twelve months after leaving television due to breast cancer, the presenter has returned to take the reins of her program on Monday. “I told them we’d see each other soon. It’s been a bit long, but good morning”has begun saying before the spectators.
Looking at the camera and visibly moved by her reappearance before the cameras, Ana Rosa thanked the shows of support she has received over the last year: “I have an eternal debt with that immense affection that has come to me from all of you.”
“My colleagues and people I don’t know have given me their prayers. Even the Pope has sent me a blessed rosary”has assured before focusing on her family: “Above all, a lot of love in my house. From my husband, from my children… Without my friends, everything would have been much harder.”
In her speech she has also made reference to the “thousands of people going through the same thing, thousands of women who are living it or are going to live it”: “I’m not going to keep anything to myself, throughout the morning I’ll try to tell everything you want to know about this year”.

On the other hand, Ana Rosa has stated that “the journalism bug” has not left her during all this time “despite the fact that this time I had to follow the news from the sofa at home”. After listing some events that have occurred in the last year, such as the war in Ukraine, the crisis or the death of Elizabeth II, she has gone on to talk about what she called “the miracle of elections”.
In this sense, the journalist has been very harsh with the Government of Pedro Sánchez and has questioned some of the measures that have been announced in recent weeks: “Don’t tell me it’s not miraculous that in the midst of a crisis we spend more than ever”. “Ask and it will be granted to you. It is the miracle of the multiplication of the votes and the fish”, she has commented before finishing: “And now seriously, it’s a miracle that I’m here today. Welcome”.
