In Italy, the financial police found more than 5.3 tons of cocaine during an operation in the Mediterranean Sea. The market value of the drugs is estimated at around 850 million euros. Five people were also arrested in the action off the southwest coast of Sicily, the police said on Thursday evening. It is reportedly the largest cocaine seizure ever on Italian territory.
