“It barely took 7 minutes”: thieves in Louvre made off with jewels of “invaluable value”, crown found broken

The world-famous Louvre museum in Paris will remain closed all day today after thieves broke into it in broad daylight. According to the newspaper ‘Le Parisien’, the perpetrators made off with nine “invaluable” jewels from Napoleon’s collection. One of the masterpieces that was stolen was said to have been found outside the museum.
