Ahead of Canada’s first match at the World Cup, a group of demonstrators in Toronto protested FIFA’s relations with Israel. Activists signed a protest by hanging a giant red banner over the World Cup logo near a busy highway in Toronto. Demonstrators opened a banner saying “Kick Israel out of FIFA”.
The protest was seen by fans heading to the stadium for Canada’s match against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
