Israel and Belgium perform in the first Eurovision Song Contest semi-final

Israel and Belgium will perform in the first semi-final during the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna in May. This was announced on Monday during the draw for the music event. The Netherlands is not participating this year due to Israel’s participation. Spain, Iceland, Ireland and Slovenia also dropped out for this reason.
