Vingegaard has to leave stage victory to defending champion, but brings yellow closer to Paris
PEYRAGUDES – Tadej Pogacar raised his arms after his third stage win, and at the same time Jonas Vingegaard shook his head behind him. The Dane hoped to finally beat his rival in a sprint-a-deux, but on explosiveness he had to recognize his superior again in the Slovenian. Nevertheless, the Jumbo-Visma leader will feel like the moral winner, because pogi couldn’t hit him again in the battle for the yellow card. After the seventeenth Tour stage, the question remains: is Pogacar playing a cunning game?
