INTERVIEW. CEO of distribution system operator Fluvius: “We are seeing the first effects of the capacity tariff”

One and a half million electric cars, a doubling of the number of solar panels and a tripling of wind turbines. The challenge to keep the Flemish power grid up and running in the coming years is enormous. And even now things sometimes go wrong: just think of inverters that fail or blocked customers who have not received an invoice for months. Not to mention the 4 billion euros it all costs.
