Interruption at the Rammstein concert in Leipzig

The announced thunderstorm, which is moving over Germany, also caught Rammstein fans off guard: In Leipzig, the show in the Red Bull Arena had to be interrupted. The interior has been cleared for safety.

The band played for 45 minutes, then the spectators in the interior were asked to get to safety. “We hope to be able to continue the concert immediately after the thunderstorm,” was the announcement from those responsible. The fans could see the disappointment, but the understanding to protect the visitors prevailed. Luckily the storm passed quickly and we were able to continue after 15 minutes. The show continued at 9.50 p.m.

Rammstein fans had to wait two years for the show. Due to the corona pandemic and the associated restrictions, the concert had to be postponed twice. But now Rammstein are on a European stadium tour and should another storm not thwart their plans, the performances will probably go ahead as planned.
