THEto International nonviolence day is celebrated every year on October 2ndon the occasion of the birth, in 1869, of Mahatma Gandhithe leader of the Independence Movement of Indiale. The United Nations established this anniversary in 2007, to spread a message that invites to respond to hatred with dialogue and injustice with peaceful resistance.
