The news was announced during the board of directors meeting which took place this morning at the headquarters in Viale della Liberazione, with the Nerazzurri number one connected via video conference from China. The decision was made following the excellent sporting results achieved by the club in recent years, confirming the vision and continuity of the winning project desired by the owners. At this point the renewals of the rest of the sports area are discounted, the sporting director Pero Ausilio and his deputy Dario Baccin. Ratification and signature are missing, but Zhang’s decision rests with the entire management.

During the board of directors, the first quarterly report of the 2023-24 season (July-September) was approved and the results obtained are very positive: the group’s turnover stood at around 166 million, an increase of around 60 million (+36%) compared to the same reference period of 2022-23. The increase in revenues was determined primarily by the capital gains recorded (Onana and Brozovic), but also by revenues from television rights, matchdays, and “licensing & retail”.
