Inter, appeal to Coni: asked for a 3-0 at table with Bologna

The club turned to the Coni Guarantee College, the last degree of sports justice: if this too were in line with the decisions of the Sports Judge and the Court of Appeal, the match not played on January 6 would be played between the end of April and the beginning of May.

As he had made known immediately after the decision in the second instance of the Sports Court of Appeal, Inter presented the appeal to the Sports Guarantee College at the Coni – third and last degree of sports justice – to obtain the victory at the table of the match against Bologna, not played on 6 January due to the various cases of Covid in the rossoblù club. Both the Sports Judge and the Court of Appeal had in fact established that the match should be replayed. The Nerazzurri club had until 25 to appeal.

The recovery

Looking at the calendar, there are two most probable moments for this expected recovery: a date within the last week of April (like Wednesday 27) and one in the first of May (like Wednesday 4 May). The appeal should in fact be discussed in 2-3 weeks, but the week between the 18th and the 24th is out of the game because on the 20th there is the return of the semi-final of the Italian Cup.
