Insolvency vowter Christof Stapf has announced new details about the downfall of the Austrian Signa Group.
According to a calculation of the auditor Deloitte Financial, who was consulted as an expert, the company loss of Signa Holding GmbH had been around 650 million euros last year before the end of November 2023, explained Stapf in his fifth report, which was presented on Friday the believer: inside. At the instigation of the insolvency administrator, 25 companies have so far been liquidated from the complex company network of the Signa Group, according to the statement. In addition, bankruptcy proceedings for further 23 companies were initiated. The further processing will “extend to 2026,” said Stapf.
According to the notification, 449 claims of a total of 8.352 billion euros were registered compared to Signa Holding by September 25. The insolvency administrator “recognized 2.758 billion euros and contested 5.594 billion euros”.
