Insider doesn’t believe in transfer of top striker

FC Bayern wants to sign a new centre-forward next summer. Tottenham’s Harry Kane and SSC Napoli’s Victor Osimhen have so far been considered hot candidates. The former technical director of Munich, Michael Reschke, does not believe in such a top transfer.

“I don’t think Bayern will get the financial support. That would surprise me,” said the 65-year-old on the “Bundesliga Webshow” from “ran”. “I can’t imagine Kane and Osimhen in Munich with the best will in the world,” he added.

Both attackers are “absolutely top players”, according to Reschke. For FC Bayern, however, the question arises as to what they are “willing and able” to pay. On the other hand, one must also ask oneself what “responsible” is.

Critical voices keep saying that Kane is not an obligation with the necessary foresight simply because of his age. The Englishman turns 30 in the summer and should still cost around 100 million euros. Osimhen would probably be even more expensive if it’s even on the market.

According to “Sport Bild”, the record champion should have seen this in the meantime. A conversation with Harry Kane’s father made FC Bayern realize that they should refrain from further transfer efforts, it said last week.

FC Bayern probably has Kolo-Muani in mind

Naples President Aurelio de Laurentis has so far categorically ruled out a farewell to Victor Osimhen.

The “Bild” recently reported that the main focus in Munich is now on a commitment from Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt.

From a spectator’s point of view, Reschke would be very happy if Kane moved to the Bundesliga.

“I’m a Harry Kane fan,” he admitted. “This is a player who comes relatively close to the quality of a Lewandowski. He currently offers a range that is exceptional.”
