From January 31 to February 3, 2025, the Fashion Council Germany (FCG) in cooperation with Ebay Germany invited to the second edition of the Talk format “Metamorphosis- Dialogues About Change” Powered by Ebay. After the successful debut on Berlin Fashion Week last July, the event was continued with an even more diverse program. The recordings of the talks and presentations are now available on the Metamorphosis website on-demand. More than 600 participants: The inside and around 60 international experts: Inside from the fashion industry came together in the NIO House in Berlin to discuss questions from the areas (fashion) design, artificial intelligence, sustainability and circularity. The participants: Inside, including designers: Inside, industry expert: Inside, student: Interior and Young Professionals, their diverse perspectives and innovative ideas brought in to shape the future of fashion together and create discussion rooms.
The event offered an extensive program of keynotes, panels and interviews. It started with intensive discussions about the current challenges and opportunities of the fashion industry with regard to sustainability and circular economy. In the following keynotes and panels, topics such as sustainable materials and the importance of creating long -lived brands were dealt with. On the second day, the focus was on technological innovations and new business models. In conversation with Michele Casucci (Certilogo), the potential of digital product passes (DPPS) was highlighted. Leading heads from Paris, Milan and Berlin came together in a visionary panel, including Pascal Morand (Executive President, Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode), Carlo Capasa (Chairman, Camera Nazionale Della Italiana), Christiane Arp and Scott Lipinski (both FCG). Together they outlined a future in which global fashion centers create a more sustainable and inclusive ecosystem fashion through innovative approaches and mutual inspiration. Creativity and visionary approaches shaped the discussions of the third day. A special highlight was the inspiring exchange between Michael Philouze, Men’s Editor at Vogue Us, and Hanan Besovic from @ideservecouture, who jointly discussed how creativity and values could redefine the fashion world in 2025. The last day was devoted to the expectations of consumers: inside and the question of how brands can build authentic connections to their communities. The keynote “Your Future Consumer – A Catalyst for Redirection” illuminated the dynamics between consumer behavior, innovation and sustainability. In addition, the panel “Crafting Your Sustainability Story” gave valuable insights into how brands build trust through transparent communication.

In the evening, the expert’s exchange was continued in an intimate atmosphere. The Bonvivant, Österelli, 963 Berlin and The Coral restaurants act as hosts. These offered not only culinary highlights, but also the opportunity to exchange ideas and to develop visions for future projects together.
