The winners: Inside the fourth edition of the Fashion X Craft funding program have been determined. The project, organized by the Fashion Council Germany in cooperation with Ebay Germany and The King’s Foundation, offers young graduates: Inside fashion and textile design, a unique platform for further development and creative development beyond conventional production paths. The most innovative concepts with a focus on sustainability and craftsmanship have now been selected from numerous applications and the five project participants: announced inside.

The future of fashion is sustainable, craftsmanship and innovative – this is shown by the concepts of the winners: Inside: Aleksander Kudrischow (Haw Hamburg), Jon Liesenfeld (AMD), Laura de Sousa (University of Lisbon), Lennart Bohle (Pforzheim University Design), and Melanie Parzenczewski (HTW Berlin). With their work, the selected talents set strong impulses for the industry: they develop plant -based material alternatives, think of modularity and durability in their collections and combine cultural heritage with forward -looking design strategies. In the next eight months, the young designers go through a detailed workshop and mentoring program inside. During a stay in Germany lasting several weeks and a trip to England to the Highmer education center of The King’s Foundation, learn traditional craftsmanship such as basket braids and weaving. The five winners present their designed design in February 2026 in February 2026: at the end of the project. Unlike in the past editions, you will not only make a single piece, but will also develop an entire collection of several looks. They go through the individual steps of a collection development in order to immerse themselves in the topic of design even deeper. They are supported by the FCG CEO Christiane Arp and in individual styling workshop.

Fashion X Craft was launched in 2022 by the Fashion Council Germany together with the Swarovski Foundation and The King’s Foundation. It is a higher -level goal to discover young talents early and to convey traditional handicraft techniques and methodologies to support them on their way to the industry. The fourth edition is continued in partnership with Ebay and The King’s Foundation – with an even stronger focus on sustainable design approaches.

The winners: Inside the last editions, their own labels have now founded their own labels, including Milk of Lime, Impari and Sveasøn. Thanks to the experiences, they were able to successfully implement their own presentations, shows and concepts during the Berlin Fashion Week and establish themselves in the German fashion landscape. The success of the alumni underlines the importance of programs such as Fashion X Craft for the creative and sustainable transformation of the fashion industry.
