MIlano, 29 Apr. (askanews) – Meg Lefauve, screenwriter of “Inside Out” 1 and 2, from Milan tells what is behind the success of a film that explained the world of emotions to children and adults.
“The entire Pixar team exposed himself and has carved out in something in something they considered very true and authentic for them and that clearly reaches people and makes them feel ‘seen’: suddenly they have a language to talk about what happens within them, having fun at the same time,” he told askanews.
“‘Inside out’ 1 and 2 have been a journey of over 10 years, he changed me. What I am changed and the way I see the world – he added – the biggest change was to accept my anxiety, which is part of me, which is trying to help me and does great things for me if I allow it”.
The author is in Milan for an Open Lecture at the Catholic University, part of the Master’s program in International Screenwriting and Production (MISP) and the master’s degree “The Art and Industry of Narration, both directed by Prof. Armando Fumagalli.
“Having characters of this type is very important for at least two reasons: the first is that films such as ‘Inside Out’ and others like that require enormous work and we want to transmit this, that doing a good film requires a lot of work, the second aspect is that these characters are very ‘inspirational’, that is, also with their vital attitude with the experiences of their life, they also give a great light and encourage the boys to try to try to do the best”.
The animation in the cinema will be the protagonist on May 9 of the Mation Day, a day with producers in the sector who will talk to the students.
