One person was injured in a stabbing on De Ruijterstraat in Oss on Sunday evening. The victim was in one of the involved cars that crashed into each other, but was believed to have been stabbed at a different location. The victim was taken to hospital with injuries.
There was said to have been a conflict prior to the collision, after which the cars chased each other. The situation escalated when a car first knocked over two posts and came to a stop against a tree. A second car then crashed into the vehicle. Police suspect that a third car was also involved in the incident.
The suspect, who was in one of the cars, fled. About half an hour later, the police managed to arrest him nearby. Both the suspect and a third person involved were injured and were also taken to hospital.
The police are still investigating the circumstances of the incident and accident.
