A stabbing incident took place on Turfsingel in Groningen on Sunday evening around half past nine. One person was injured as a result.
This is reported by the Groningen police.
Officers received a report from a hospital about the incident around 12:30 p.m. The victim then went to the hospital herself.
The police then launched an investigation into the report and the cause of the injuries. Trace investigations were also carried out on the Turfsingel.
No one has been arrested yet. Police have not yet released the identity of the victim. It is also unclear who informed the police from the hospital.
Second stabbing on Sunday
On Sunday, a minor boy from Groningen was seriously injured in another stabbing in Zaagmuldersweg. The police arrested two suspects – 18 years old and a minor.
