At least one person was injured in an accident on the A16 near Zevenbergschen Hoek between two cars on Friday evening. An air ambulance landed on the highway to provide assistance.
It is not clear how serious the victim’s injuries are. The A16 was closed in the direction from Breda to Rotterdam. “Give emergency services space to help,” the police appealed.
The first report of the accident was received by the emergency services shortly after half past nine in the evening. The ANWB set up a diversion. Traffic heading to Rotterdam was advised to follow Utrecht and drive via the A59, A27 and A15.
