For more than a month, Alphonso Davies has had to watch injured when FC Bayern plays. He takes his fans on his way back to the square in a video project – and divides some details in it.

In March, Alphonso Davies tore off the cruciate ligament. Since then, everything has been about his comeback for the Bayern star. He has already had an operation, physiotherapy and rehabilitation now determine the everyday life of the full -back – which has now given a deep insight into the past few weeks. In a video on his YouTube channel, he reports a few weeks after the injury. “Last night was hard. I had a mental breakdown. I don’t know what was going on,” says the video.

The Canadian was showing on the night of March 30, “broken out in tears” and “got panicked”. “I had to fight my way through what I did,” continued Davies, who took a deep breath at the same time: “Hopefully, many other losses will not follow.”

In the so-called VLOG (video blog), which consists of several clashes of exceptions from a longer period of time, Davies also gives insights into the time of his first steps and in moments from home. In the videos, other people can also be heard in the background, such as his fiance.

Shortly before the end of the video he gives a day update on the evening of March 30th. Davies tells of a physio unit and his pain in the heel. “I see no progress,” admits the 24-year-old-and continues the conversation. Davies apologizes for “boring” videos, but: “I don’t really do a lot. I go to the physio and come home.” He also reveals what he has currently planned in his free time: “Learning to play piano, becoming fitter, improving my German.”

Davies was traveling with the National team of Canada when he injured his right knee as part of the Nation’s League duel against the United States. A dispute developed. Because only an investigation in Munich had the diagnosis of the cruciate ligament tear, previously Canada’s captain had completed the long return flight from California to Germany. The CEO of Munich, Jan-Christian Dreesen, had therefore threatened Canada’s association with legal steps.

According to T-Online information, FC Bayern is expected to have a downtime of around seven months. This would mean that Davies would only be back with the team in October.
