Ine Francisconi: “It is key to promote transformational leadership to forge an ethical, more human and sustainable future

He transactional leadership focuses on task management and control. Relationships are established in a hierarchical, vertical manner, where communication is unilateral (from top to bottom) and bosses are the ones who design, decide and issue instructions, while workers limit themselves to executing them, without possibilities of participation. It is the cold transaction between task for salary. Relationships are regulated by reward and punishment, depending on obedience to the rules or guidelines given. It seeks to maintain stability, the status quo; and the underlying emotion is fear.

On the other hand the transformational leadership, is based on inspiring and motivating employees to expand their talents, develop their values, their qualities, face challenges and create new realities. The base emotion is trust and collaborative work (network). The focus is on building strong long-term relationships. More than managing and controlling tasks, these leaders seek to empower their team, encourage creativity, innovation, and promote collective intelligence for decision-making, with a view to sustainability, well-being, and joint growth.

One of the key differences, between these two approaches, is the purpose. While transactional leadership focuses on the efficient execution of tasks and compliance with rules, transformational leadership focuses on generating relationships of trust, activating human potential and creating positive change in everyone involved. Transformational leaders seek not only to achieve goals, but also to elevate their teams and organizations to a higher level.

He transformational leadership It is the key to generating a positive, significant, sustainable and ethical impact in organizations, communities and the world.

A new paradigm is being born and with it, a new way of being, being, living and leading. And the decision is in our hands to accompany this change and evolve towards a more conscious, responsible humanity oriented to the common well-being; or, on the contrary, sustain the status quo, governed by fear, competition, war and domination.

My commitment is to train “Leaders for the New World”, facilitating the development of talent, values and socio-emotional skills to promote more comprehensive, ethical, sustainable, and more human leadership. You add up?
