The West-Flemish Intercommunale (WVI) speaks of a much needed expansion for local companies. There were no fewer than 50 interested people to build on the new business parks.
Geert Sanders, WVI: “The land is becoming scarcer and scarcer. We get fewer and fewer new industrial sites. This in Beernem is an extension of about 2 hectares for local companies, for Beernem companies that areolated, or have expansion plans. There may be 7 or 8 companies here, but that is a big question of it in the future.”
