Indoor football: Najib Taki remains trainer of ‘ t Veerhuys

Because of different visions, ‘t Veerhuys and trainer Najib Taki decided to part ways after last season. The departure turned out to be short-lived. Last summer, the club and trainer came closer together, which means that Taki is also in front of the group this season.

The nice group of players has been an important reason in the choice to stay with the club. “They’re all nice guys. It’s really a group that has music in this season.”

Finish in the top three

The player group is also very happy that the coach has stayed. Captain Aram Hakopov says that the trainer and selection have an indescribably good relationship with each other. Club, coach and players have ambitious plans. “Maybe it’s too early now, but I’m sure we can finish in the top three of the competition within three seasons,” said a motivated Hakopov.

Last Friday, ‘t Veerhuys played its first league game of the new season against fellow countryman Volendam (8-2 loss).
