Index restriction on higher wages is being relaxed: what does this really mean for your pay slip?

The planned restriction on automatic wage indexation for gross wages above 4,000 euros – the already controversial ‘cent index’ – is being relaxed somewhat. The government does this to avoid discrimination between the government and private sectors. How much more will you have left if you earn more than 4,000 euros gross per month?
