In Wijk aan Zee, residents are working on their own initiative. In News of the Day, reporter Pim Markering visits the coastal village, where people no longer wait for The Hague. Out of dissatisfaction with slow decision-making, local residents opened a neighborhood café and started a housing association to build more homes.
