In Ulan-Ude, the supply of heat to almost 800 houses was limited due to a fire at a thermal power plant – RBK

After the accident at CHPP-1 in the capital of Buryatia, Ulan-Ude, there are no residential buildings disconnected from heating, but almost 800 houses are heated according to reduced parameters, reported regional operational headquarters.

“There are no residential buildings disconnected from heating. In the mode of reduced parameters – 791 apartment buildings, ”it was reported.

According to the operational headquarters, ten temporary accommodation centers have been prepared in the city.

Investigative Committee opened a case after a fire at a TPP in Ulan-Ude

On the night of December 23, a fire broke out at TPP-1 in Ulan-Ude. The press service of the city administration reported that there was a short circuit, after which a fire started in the cable compartment. This led to the shutdown of four boilers and two turbine generators.

As a result of the emergency at the power plant, most of the Zheleznodorozhny district of the city, as well as 13 schools, 25 kindergartens and 12 healthcare facilities, were left without hot water. An emergency regime was introduced in the region.
