The number of people infected with coronavirus in Russia in 24 hours was 21,119, the headquarters said. This is at least 21 September.
932 people died in a day. The total number of people infected since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 10.4 million, the deaths – 307 thousand.
Among the subjects in terms of the number of new cases, Moscow is the leader (1798), the second and third places are taken by St. Petersburg (1526) and the Moscow region (1342). They are followed by:
- Sverdlovsk region (533);
- Chelyabinsk region (502);
- Irkutsk region (499);
- Perm Territory (480);
- Krasnoyarsk Territory (459);
- Rostov region (457).
During the day, 42,776 people have fully recovered throughout the country.
