In Primorsky Krai, investigators opened a criminal case after the crab fishing vessel Aquanaut sank in the port of Zarubino and one crew member died. This is mentioned on website Eastern Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee.
“A criminal case has been initiated on the fact of violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of maritime transport, which negligently caused the death of a person, under Part 2 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code,” the ministry said in a statement.
