In Brazil, when a rock fell on boats with tourists, five people died – RBK

The collapse of a cliff on Lake Furnas in eastern Brazil killed five people on boats carrying tourists, informs CNN Brasil TV channel with reference to the representative of the fire service.

Rescue services are working at the scene, a search operation is underway. According to the authorities, about twenty people are listed as missing. 23 people received minor bruises, nine are in hospitals with injuries of varying severity, the channel reports.

Part of the rock collapsed by tourist boats in a canyon near the city of Capitoliu in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. At that moment there were at least 34 people on board.
