Can Annerveenschekanaal really not be added to the depreciation scheme in the Drenthe-Groningen earthquake area? The Mining Damage Institute Groningen (IMG) will discuss that fervent wish from the village again in The Hague.
IMG chairman Herman Korvius promised this during an information evening in Annerveenschekanaal. In his next conversation with State Secretary Hans Vijlbrief of Mining, he wants to once again raise the village’s concerns.
The exclusion of the depreciation scheme remains inexplicable to residents of the village. All surrounding villages are covered by the compensation scheme for homes that have fallen in value, but Annerveenschekanaal remains a white spot on the map.
