René Froger loosened a hefty discussion among his colleagues with his sneer at the address of young artists like Samuel Welten after one hit immediately ask 10,000 euros for half an hour, and then forced only the same hit instarts three times because they have nothing else. First build your repertoire, says René.

Cheerful song

René’s criticism was seen as an on -collegial and that is why he was forced to come up with a sort of extensive nuance afterwards. Now, however, he receives support from old Rot Imca Marina.

IMCA thinks Samuel will not run long. She thinks his song ‘Maserati, house in Bali’ fine, but no more than that. “It is a cheerful song, but in terms of content it is not a ‘daddy, I look more and more like you’, if you understand what I mean, haha!” Weekend.

Sausage

That boy is just a one -day fly, IMCA thinks. “We have many young people who sing fantastic and come up with beautiful music. But it is often unity sausage: this is in fashion in one go. Fortunately, there is also a large undercurrent that it is possible. I have also been dug up again – for a third time. I am very busy.”

She fully agrees with René. “Take the success with both hands, but don’t be fooled by managers who want to grab in the money pot themselves. It is a profession and you have to learn that. If you want to protect yourself against graaiers, you should not immediately count a towering gage. Build it, make a nice career.”

Screw up

Asking 10,000 euros is not realistic, IMCA believes. “If you screw it up right away, you miss the common people. While these lovely people buy your songs and you have to be careful with that.”

“As a folk singer you sing for the people, but if you don’t like your own audience, you are not suitable for the profession. You can think your steps better, it does not fall and falls with a large fee in one go.”
