Ilves is the lord of Tampere – Judges in the moonlight

Tampere’s second local match of the season was an entertaining and eventful occasion.

In the opening set of the match, Ilves was solidly on top of the rider.

On Friday, the Nokia Arena was sold out for the first time in this season’s SM league matches. There were 12,700 spectators in the stands.

There was a strong sale of tickets, because already on Friday morning they were all sold out.

In the first local match of the season on September 28, there were 10,520 spectators in the stands.

Last season, four out of six local matches had a full house of 12,700 spectators. The first local of the 2022–23 season had 11,744 and the second 12,600.

The September local match was won by Ilves with 5–3 goals.

Last season’s local victories were 3–3.
