The police have busted an illegal casino in Hoogeveen. Dozens of slot machines and 15,000 euros in cash were found during the raid. A 35-year-old woman from Hoogeveen has been arrested.
Last year, the police received tips via Report Crime Anonymous about an illegal casino in a building on Industrieweg. After months of investigation, the police raided the building last Friday evening. The Gaming Authority was also present during that raid.
In addition to the slot machines and cash, a roulette table was also seized. Furthermore, a computer and a telephone were seized.
