Kalle Rovanperä is fighting for third place in the Swedish rally.

Rovanperä, who drove Pätkäpohjat, was 2.7 seconds in Västervik’s more than 26 kilometers Thierry Neuville faster. The difference to the third-placed Belgian is only 1.1 seconds.

– An okay start to the morning, Rovanperä stated in the finish interview.

The Finn said that he had some trouble before the start of the EK with the transition. However, according to him, it wasn’t about anything bigger.

Ott Tänak increased his lead at the top of the rally to Craig Breen. The Estonian is on his way to victory.

Now the rally column is heading back for maintenance. After that, there will be Västervik again and the rally’s culminating Power Stage. The next EK starts at 11:05 Finnish time.
