The Düsseldorf trade fair organizer Igedo Exhibition is cooperating with the Turkish fashion fair Istanbul Fashion Connection (IFCO).

At the next edition of IFCO, which will take place from February 8 to 11, 2023, Igedo will be responsible for the “Europe selection” area, the organizer of the order events Fashn Rooms and Shoes Düsseldorf announced on Thursday. Igedo has just started the search After finding the right brands for the show, a spokeswoman told FashionUnited, so the company can’t give any more details on the number or brands already employed.

“In recent years, the Turkish clothing retail sector has grown rapidly, so it is of great advantage for European exporters of branded fashion to establish themselves there,” said Philipp Kronen, Managing Partner at Igedo Exhibitions. “We are very pleased to be closely accompanying the next steps in the further development of IFCO.”

The first two editions of IFCO took place in February and August this year. Producers and brands from the areas of womenswear, menswear and kidswear as well as denim, leather and fur will be exhibiting at the fair. The February edition has two additional halls – Linexpo and FashionIst. Lingerie, underwear and swimwear will be on display at Linexpo and wedding and evening dresses at FashionIst. The European brands brought to Istanbul by Igedo can also exhibit in the halls, provided they come from the respective areas. So there shouldn’t be a separate area for the “Europe selection”.

FashionUnited was present at the last edition of IFCO: How Turkish Brands Want to Conquer Europe.
