Cyclists between the there and Dinteloord have to make a lot of detour again. The historic Rolburg at Benedensas is broken due to problems with a sensor.
Last year there were also problems with the bridge. The surface of the scaling head at the bridge turned out to be sagged. The gears also showed defects and there were problems with safety sensors, emergency stop and ring signals.
Mechanic
At the beginning of next week, engineers will solve the current problem. Then the bridge should open again for cyclists and walkers.
Major maintenance is planned for the bridge in 2026/2027.
